Membership

ASIS International is the preeminent organization for security professionals. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics.

Certification Study Programs

ASIS Toronto Chapter hosts Study Groups for the three internationally accredited certification programs. The Certified Protection Professional (CPP) indicates board certification in security management, and is widely recognized as the highest designation accorded a security practitioner.

Education Committee

The Toronto Chapter education committee is focused on the support and continuing education of young security professionals and students as they reach their educational goals. Through events, scholarships and award programs ASIS Toronto is working with colleges and universities from Southern Ontario to encourage and reward leadership in the security profession.

Chapter Events

ASIS Toronto Chapter hosts various events and seminars throughout the year to support our members. Activities include the Certification Study Groups, Annual Best Practices Seminar, Golf Tournament, Women in Security Events, Young Professionals Networking and Monthly Meetings with guest speakers.
