Security Practitioner Awards 2010

Submissions will be received by the Program Committee, Security Practitioner Award Representative, and presented to the Program Committee, once they have been edited removing the nominee’s name, organization and any other details that may identify the nomine or their employer. Once a short list of nominees has been decided on by the Program Committee, the Program Committee will present the short list to the chapter Executive for winner selection.
Award Categories
Investigations
The award recipient will have demonstrated exceptional investigative ability in solving an occurrence.
Front Line Security
The award recipient, who regularly wears a security uniform, including suits or other attire in accordance with the employer’s requirements, will have demonstrated exceptional service and results in their role as a front line security practitioner.
Security Technology
The award recipient will have displayed ultimate competence in the selection, specification, project management, or installation of a security technology.
Women in Security
The female award recipient will have demonstrated strong leadership qualities and promoted the membership of women in the security industry.
Awards will be presented during the Security & Law Enforcement Appreciation Awards event. At that time the recipient’s manager will be asked to give a brief synopsis of the recipient’s actions that lead to their nomination, and ultimately their selections as the award recipient.
Costs: Dinner costs for all award recipients are included. Beverage costs are not included.
Submission deadline is August 31, 2010.
