ASIS International Professional Certifications
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) - This certification designates individuals who have demonstrated competency in all areas constituting security management.
Physical Security Professional (PSP) - The PSP designation is the certification for those whose primary responsibility is to conduct threat surveys, design integrated security systems that include equipment, procedures and people, or install, operate and maintain those systems.
Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) - Holders of the PCI certification have demonstrated education and/or experience in the fields of case management, evidence collection, and case presentation.
CPP Study Program
The CPP Study Group is primarily designed for CPP candidates. Others who may find the program useful include security practitioners who want to review fundamental concepts of security, managers who have recently assumed security responsibilities, and individuals seeking more information about the security industry.
PSP Study Program
The Physical Security Professional examination is targeted to security professionals whose primary responsibility is to conduct threat surveys; design integrated security systems that include equipment, procedures, and people; or install, operate, and maintain those systems. The test consists of multiple-choice questions covering tasks, knowledge, and skills in Physical Security Assessments, Selection of Integrated Physical Security Measures and Implementation of Physical Security Measures.
